Ernesto has been experimenting with various techniques for propagating succulents from seed and wants to share these techniques and tips for better seed germination. If you haven’t tried growing from seed or if you are looking for ways to perhaps increase your success rate, Ernesto thinks you’ll appreciate this visual tour of propagation of plants such Welwitschia, Aloes, Cacti, Dorstenia, Othonna, Mesembs and more.

Ernesto will also be this month’s featured grower. He vows to definitely bring all sorts of plants including Dorstenia gigas, Welwitschia, Aloes, Hoyas, Dioscorea elephantipes, Haworthias and more!

What to bring:

For the Show & Tell table, we will feature Opuntia & relatives (including Opuntia, Cylindropuntia, Austrocylindropuntia, Consolea, Tunilla, Tephrocactus, Pterocactus, etc.) on the cactus side, and bromeliads and anything else looking good to share.

Please bring baked goodies, fruit, snack food or a beverage if your last name begins with the letters N to R, and any other members who would like to contribute this month.
