Each month, Society members and visitors learn about succulent gardening while getting their hands dirty – in person in Oakland, California.

If you live in the East Bay or can’t attend our regular Tuesday night meetings, this is a great way to be active in the Society..
Participants will become part of our long-term transformation of the succulent displays at the lovely Gardens of Lake Merritt.
Learn succulent gardening and propagation techniques with S.F. Succulent Society board member Troy Stephens and other mentors.
How to attend
Just show up! Come any time between 10am and 2:30pm, and stay as long as you are able.
Guests and non-members welcome. This event is free.

Tell the parking attendant you are there to volunteer at the garden. Wink Wink, Nod Nod.
On public transit – 19th Street DTO is the closest BART station. It’s a long-ish but lovely walk around the edge of the park to get there.
